Advanced gate admission is $8 (for ages 13 & up) if purchased on or before March 1 or $9 if purchased at the gate. Advanced youth gate admission is (for ages 6-12) and is $4 if purchased on or before March 1 or $5 if purchased at the gate. Children 5 years old and under are admitted free with a paying adult. However, children 3 years old and older will be required to have a reserved seat for concerts. Reserved seat tickets for concerts are $10 to $25. Limited free-seating is also available for most shows with your gate admission on a first come, first served basis.

Description:
Ranking among the top food festivals in North America, this festival dates back to 1930 and is a celebration of the strawberry harvest. It offers a variety of activities for young and old. Numerous exhibits featuring agriculture, commerce, industry, livestock, fine arts, horticulture, homemade goods, and crafts are on display daily. A wide assortment of contests (the strawberry shortcake eating my personal favorite) bring out the competitive spirit of both youth and adults. Other attractions include a large midway with carnival games and rides, parades complete with floats and marching bands, and headliner country music entertainers who perform twice daily (there is limited free seating or reserved seats can be purchased for an additional fee). An annual scholarship pageant for the selection and coronation of the Florida Strawberry Festival® Queen highlights this festival. Of course, the main attraction is the strawberries—strawberry shortcake, strawberry milkshakes, strawberry sundaes, strawberry cobbler, strawberry ice cream, and just plain strawberries! Strawberries are also available for purchase.
